NAURYZ CELEBRATION TOOK PLACE AT THE ACADEMY OF JUSTICE

Events aimed at strengthening the historical traditions of the Kazakh people and educating future judges were organized within the walls of the Academy in honor of the spring festival and the renewal of nature – ‘Nauryz Meiramy’. The celebration of Nauryz is aimed at preserving national identity, instilling in the younger generation the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, strengthening unity and harmony, peace and friendship in Kazakh society, increasing the level of personal competencies of future judges – to be honest, to love their Homeland, to serve for the benefit of their country and justice.

The master’s students creatively and responsibly approached the preparation of the program of the solemn event, which included various genres that reveal the concept of the holiday. The festive event called ‘Nauryz Duman’ was accompanied by national music, songs, dances, contests, performances, which made it possible to reproduce the spirit of national traditions included by UNESCO in the list of intangible cultural heritage of mankind.

The highlight of the event can be called a statement on the resolution of disputes between representatives of the Kazakh and Turkmen states by Kazakh biys.

The master’s students also held a competition in the national sport of tug of war.

The culmination of the Nauryz celebration was the contests for knowledge of the customs and culture of the Kazakh people.

Between the concert performances, the presenters Azat Abdrazakhov and Almira Satmoldina organized a quiz among the master’s students present, according to the results of which gifts were presented.

The results of the event were summed up by the jury, which awarded certificates to the participants of the concert program for the most original and memorable performances by groups of master’s students.

The atmosphere of the event was filled with positivity and joy.

Rector of the Academy of Justice Zauresh Baymoldina made a congratulatory speech, who noted that ‘The history of Nauryz Meirama has deep roots, in ancient times Nauryz awakened in people the desire for a peaceful life, kindness and harmony, inter-tribal disputes and wars stopped, all grievances were forgiven, the kindest wishes were expressed, differences were smoothed out. Today, Nauryz holiday embodies the symbol of friendship and harmony, unity, solidarity and creation of the multinational people of Kazakhstan’. In conclusion, Zauresh Khamitovna wished everyone present at the event good health, family well-being, peace and tranquility, as well as justice and prosperity to our country.

The guests of the event were Ex–Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, professor Georgy Kim, retired judge of Astana court Toktar Amrenov, judge of the inter-district court for Civil cases of Astana Rasul Karagayev.

The deep philosophical content of Nauryz teaches us to always remember the good, to be fair and to live in harmony with people and nature.

This day will be remembered as a celebration of unity, the personification of the continuous connection of times and generations, as well as a symbol of the birth of new achievements and goals.
